Clinical governance
Medical oversight for every mobile IV service
STAT Mobile IV uses physician-led protocols for screening, treatment selection, medication handling, and escalation when mobile care is not appropriate.
Before treatment
Each client completes a health screening. A clinician reviews relevant history, current symptoms, medications, allergies, and other factors before proceeding.
During the visit
A licensed clinician confirms the plan, obtains consent, monitors the appointment, and follows established safety procedures.
When care is declined
Treatment may be changed, postponed, or declined when screening indicates that mobile IV therapy is not appropriate.
Medical director
Clinical oversight is provided by Dr. Philip Maharaj-Prasad, a board-certified family medicine physician. Learn more about his role and credentials on the medical director page.
Important medical limits
Mobile IV therapy does not diagnose disease, guarantee a result, or replace emergency evaluation. Call 911 for chest pain, severe shortness of breath, stroke symptoms, loss of consciousness, severe allergic reaction, uncontrolled bleeding, or another medical emergency.
