Clinical standards
Convenience never replaces medical judgment
STAT Mobile IV provides scheduled mobile care for eligible adults. Every appointment requires health screening, nurse assessment, and medical oversight.
Licensed professionals and physician leadership
IV services are administered by licensed medical professionals using established protocols. Dr. Philip Maharaj-Prasad, MD, MBA, provides physician leadership for screening standards, eligibility, treatment safeguards, quality review, and escalation procedures.
Screening before treatment
Clients report current symptoms, medications, allergies, pregnancy, and relevant health conditions. The nurse checks vital signs and the treatment setting before proceeding. A reservation or requested product never guarantees treatment.
Sterile equipment and monitoring
Providers use sterile, single-use supplies and remain present during administration. The treatment area must be clean, stable, and adequately lit. The nurse may stop or change treatment if a concern appears.
When mobile care is not appropriate
Mobile IV therapy does not replace primary care, diagnostic testing, urgent care, or emergency services. Call 911 for chest pain, severe breathing trouble, confusion, fainting, stroke symptoms, seizure, or suspected heat stroke. Severe, unexplained, persistent, or rapidly worsening symptoms require an appropriate medical facility.
