Dr. Philip Maharaj-Prasad, MD, MBA, serves as Medical Director for STAT Mobile IV and provides physician leadership for the clinical standards supporting its mobile IV therapy services.
Background and Medical Training
Originally from Fiji, Dr. Maharaj-Prasad received his medical degree from St. Christopher’s College of Medicine. He completed family medicine residency training in 2013 and is board certified in family medicine.
Dr. Maharaj-Prasad has practiced in the Tucson medical community as a hospitalist since 2013. His education also includes an MBA with a healthcare concentration.

Role at STAT Mobile IV
As Medical Director, Dr. Maharaj-Prasad provides physician leadership for clinical protocols, screening and eligibility standards, scope-of-service decisions, medication and ingredient safeguards, adverse-event response procedures, quality review, and escalation to appropriate medical care.
Each client must still complete an individual intake and screening. A requested IV service or ingredient may be modified or declined when it is not appropriate under established protocols.
