What the visit includes
After you complete intake, the nurse reviews symptoms, medications, allergies, and relevant health conditions. Vital signs and the treatment space are checked before an IV begins. Most complete appointments occupy approximately 45 to 75 minutes.
A reservation does not guarantee treatment. Clinical screening controls the final decision.
When to seek a higher level of care
Mobile IV therapy is not emergency care. Call 911 for chest pain, severe breathing trouble, confusion, fainting, stroke symptoms, seizure, or suspected heat stroke. Persistent vomiting or rapidly worsening symptoms may require a facility with testing and continuous monitoring.
